Ladakh – Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during his visit to the Siachen Base Camp, lauded the Indian troops for their unwavering dedication and commitment to protecting the nation’s sovereignty at the world’s highest battlefield, the Siachen Glacier.
“I congratulate you for the way you protect the country at the world’s highest battlefield, Siachen Glacier,” said Singh, addressing the troops stationed at the base camp. He emphasized that the land of Siachen is not just an ordinary land. It is a symbol of the country’s sovereignty and perseverance, representing our national determination.
Singh further added, “Our national capital is Delhi, Mumbai is our economic capital, our technological capital is Bengaluru, but Siachen is the capital of valor and courage.” His words resonated with the spirit of the soldiers, who brave harsh weather conditions and challenging terrains to safeguard the nation’s borders.
