Darbhanga, Bihar – In a recent public address in Darbhanga, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the growth of Bihar under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.
“Today, under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the NDA government is working for the development of Bihar,” Prime Minister Modi stated, underscoring the government’s commitment to Bihar’s growth and the welfare of its citizens.
The Prime Minister also paid homage to Karpuri Thakur, a respected socialist leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar. “Our inspiration is Karpuri Thakur, to whom we had the fortune of giving Bharat Ratna,” he said. The Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India, was posthumously awarded to Thakur, honouring his significant contributions to Bihar’s political history.
