Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, in a recent statement, highlighted the special bond between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). He emphasized that the largest development package received by J&K post-independence was delivered under PM Modi’s leadership.
Dr Singh stated that the people of J&K have a natural connection with PM Modi. This bond has been strengthened by the numerous development and transformation projects initiated in the region under PM Modi’s leadership.
The Union Minister pointed out that several projects, which were previously thought to be impossible, have been successfully implemented in J&K. These initiatives have significantly contributed to the region’s development and have brought about a positive change in the lives of the local population.
During his upcoming visit, PM Modi is set to inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects. These projects span across various sectors including education, railway, aviation, and roads.
Among the key projects are the railway line between Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan, the newly electrified Baramulla-Srinagar-Banihal-Sangaldan section, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vijaypur, Jammu. The Prime Minister will also distribute appointment letters to approximately 1,500 newly recruited government employees of J&K.
The Union Minister’s statement underscores the central government’s commitment to the development of J&K. The upcoming visit of PM Modi is expected to further boost this development drive and reinforce the special bond between the Prime Minister and the people of J&K.
