In a recent public meeting in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a series of allegations against the Congress party. The most significant among them was the claim that the Congress has reallocated the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Karnataka to Muslims.
The Prime Minister stated, “Congress has snatched OBC reservation in Karnataka and given it to Muslims.” He further alleged that the Congress is planning to “change the constitution and implement this rule across the country.”
In addition to this, PM Modi also criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP), accusing it of betraying the backward classes by not speaking up on this issue. He further claimed that these parties are appealing for ‘vote jihad’ against him, a term that has been a point of contention in political discussions.
These allegations have caused a stir in the political community, with many waiting for a response from the Congress party. The potential impact of these statements on the political climate of the country is yet to be determined.
