In a recent public rally held in Ghazipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a powerful statement against the mafia and riots that were prevalent during the Samajwadi Party (SP) rule.
“Under the SP rule, mafia used to roam around with ‘Lal Batti’. They used to challenge the law in open jeeps. They used to open fire at their nemesis. Riots were an identity of UP. Every month, there used to be 2-3 big riots under the SP rule. This affected the poor, shopkeepers, and businesspersons,” said PM Modi.
He further highlighted the stark contrast under the current Yogi government, stating, “Under the Yogi government, riots and rioters, both are gone.” This statement underscores the significant improvements in law and order under the current administration.
PM Modi also criticized the SP for their contradictory stance on the mafia. “The Shehzade of the SP once said that they would stop the entry of mafia, but then he went and sat at the feet of the mafia. SP nourished the mafia and gave them ticket,” he added.
These remarks by PM Modi have sparked a fresh wave of discussions about the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh, particularly the strategies and actions of different parties in dealing with law and order issues. The rally served as a platform for the Prime Minister to express his strong stand against the mafia and riots, and his commitment to maintaining peace and order in the state.
