Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public rally in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, leveled a strong criticism against the INDI alliance parties, accusing them of consistently resisting the construction of the Ram Temple.
“INDI alliance parties have always displayed their opposition to the construction of the Ram Temple,” Modi asserted. “They spurned the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ invite and insulted Ram Lalla. Their party members who dared to attend the ceremony were suspended for a duration of six years.”
Modi also took a jab at the Congress party, alleging that it is deeply involved in appeasement politics. “Congress is so steeped in appeasement politics that they seem unable to extricate themselves from it,” he argued. “Their manifesto seems to be a reflection of the Muslim League’s, rather than their own.”
The Prime Minister further castigated the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) for their opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). “If India doesn’t accord citizenship to the persecuted minorities from neighbouring countries, then who will?” he questioned.
The rally was conducted amidst the fervent political campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, with all parties making concerted efforts to win over voters. The Prime Minister’s remarks are set to ignite the already heated political discourse in the state.
