PM Modi Stresses Yoga’s Transformative Role on International Yoga Day in Srinagar

In a spirited address marking International Yoga Day in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the profound impact of yoga as both a discipline and a science in the modern era. Against the backdrop of the picturesque Dal Lake, PM Modi articulated how yoga serves as a crucial tool in navigating the information age, enabling individuals to maintain focus amidst the deluge of information.

PM Modi elucidated that yoga and meditation are not merely physical exercises but powerful techniques to enhance concentration, essential for productivity and endurance in all spheres of life. He emphasized that yoga is integrated into diverse sectors ranging from the military and sports to space programs and prisons, emphasizing its role in fostering positive thinking and societal transformation.

“Yoga is not just about twisting and turning our bodies.
