New Delhi — Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Rising Bharat Summit, marking a decade of the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), and showcased its role in fueling inclusive economic growth and grassroots transformation across the country.

He highlighted that loans amounting to ₹33 lakh crore have played a pivotal role in building a self-reliant India by unlocking the potential of small businesses and micro-enterprises. “The Mudra Yojana has not only encouraged entrepreneurship but has also linked India’s growth story to the aspirations of its people,” he said.
PM Modi also pointed to the transformation of backward districts into aspirational hubs, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. He credited local enterprise and focused governance for driving economic revival at the grassroots, ensuring no region is left behind in India’s growth journey.
