PM Modi Highlights Bihar’s Rapid Growth While Inaugurating Key Projects in Purnea

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated a series of major development projects in Purnea, reaffirming his government’s commitment to transforming Bihar into a hub of growth and opportunity. Addressing a massive gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted Bihar’s remarkable progress in recent years, achieved despite what he termed as “obstructionist politics” by opposition parties such as the Congress and RJD.

PM Modi underscored that the double-engine government of the BJP at the Centre and in the state is delivering projects that directly benefit people across Bihar. He cited key examples such as the construction of historic bridges, the hosting of Asia Cup hockey events, the expansion of rail exports, and the provision of free healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. These initiatives, he said, are bringing tangible improvements to people’s lives, from enhanced connectivity and economic opportunities to better access to medical facilities.

The Prime Minister contrasted this development-driven approach with the “decades of neglect” under previous governments, pointing out that the Congress and RJD regimes failed to provide basic infrastructure and welfare measures to the people of Bihar. “Our mission is to ensure that every citizen receives the real benefits of growth, not just promises,” he said, adding that the new projects will create jobs, improve transport, and strengthen Bihar’s energy and agricultural sectors.

With initiatives ranging from railway expansions and modern power plants to irrigation projects and rural development schemes, PM Modi declared that Bihar is moving forward with confidence and speed. “This is a new era for Bihar, where progress is unstoppable, and every family feels the impact of development,” he concluded, drawing loud applause from the crowd.
