Darbhanga, Bihar – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public gathering here, took a sharp dig at the political ‘princes’ of Delhi and Patna, accusing them of treating their respective regions as personal property.
The Prime Minister did not name anyone directly but his comments were seen as a clear swipe at the political leaders who have been in power in these regions. “Just as there is a prince in Delhi, similarly there is a prince in Patna also,” he said, “One prince has considered the whole country as his property since childhood and the other prince has considered the whole Bihar as his property.”
PM Modi further criticized their performance, stating that their report cards were identical and filled with nothing but scams. “The report cards of these two princes are the same. There is nothing in their report card except scams,” he added.
The comments come amid a heated political climate, with the opposition parties frequently clashing with the ruling party over various issues. The ‘prince’ remark is likely to stir controversy and spark further debates in the political circles.
The Prime Minister’s speech was met with applause from his supporters at the rally, while it remains to be seen how the leaders referred to as ‘princes’ respond to his comments.
This event marks yet another instance of the intense political rhetoric that has been a hallmark of recent times. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the citizens of India watch on, their future shaped by the actions and decisions of their leaders.
