New Delhi — Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the visit of Paraguayan President Santiago Peña Palacios as a historic moment in the growing bilateral relationship between India and Paraguay.
“Your visit to India is historic. This is the second visit of the President of Paraguay to India. You are visiting not only Delhi but Mumbai as well. This clearly reflects your commitment to mutual relations,” said PM Modi during their bilateral meeting.
He emphasized the potential for expanding cooperation across a wide range of sectors. “I believe that through mutual cooperation, we will pave the way for shared prosperity. We have new opportunities for cooperation in areas like digital technology, critical minerals, energy, agriculture, health, defence, railways, and space,” he added.
The meeting underscores India’s focus on strengthening ties with Latin American countries and tapping into new areas of strategic and economic partnership.
