PM Modi Assures Jammu and Kashmir of Continued Support

J&K – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public rally held in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, reiterated his commitment to the welfare of the people of the region. He reminded the audience of his promise to resolve the longstanding issues that have plagued the region for six decades.

“I had told you to trust me and I will solve the problems of 60 years,” the Prime Minister said, addressing the crowd. His words were met with applause as he recalled his pledge to ensure respect and dignity for the women of Jammu and Kashmir.

In his speech, PM Modi also emphasized his commitment to poverty alleviation. “I gave a guarantee that the poor would not have to worry about two meals a day,” he said, highlighting his government’s efforts to ensure food security for the underprivileged.

In a significant announcement, the Prime Minister assured that lakhs of families in Jammu and Kashmir would receive free ration for the next five years. This move is expected to provide much-needed relief to the economically disadvantaged sections of the society.
