Maharashtra – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, accused the Congress party of spreading misinformation in the ongoing election campaign. He claimed that the opposition party has opened a “factory of lies” as they are unable to compete with him on the grounds of development.
“Congress knows that they can’t compete with Modi on development and hence they have opened a ‘factory’ of lies in this election,” said PM Modi, taking a direct jab at the opposition party.
The Prime Minister also touched upon the sensitive issue of reservation. He alleged that the Congress party’s stance on religion-based reservation is contrary to the principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.
“Regarding reservation, Congress’ condition is like ‘chor machaye shor’. Religion-based reservation is against the principle of Babasaheb Ambedkar. It’s like stabbing at the back of those who framed the Constitution, it’s a sin that can’t be measured,” PM Modi stated.
The Prime Minister’s comments come amidst the heated political environment of the ongoing elections. His remarks have added fuel to the already intense political discourse, with the opposition expected to respond soon.
The election results, which are eagerly awaited by the entire nation, will determine whether PM Modi’s accusations hold any weight with the voters.
