Passing Out Parade of 194 Agniveer Soldiers Held at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre in Leh

Leh, J&K — In a proud and ceremonial display of military tradition, the Passing Out Parade of the Ladakh Scouts Regiment was held today at the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, Leh. The event marked the formal induction of 194 Agniveer recruits into the regiment as Agniveer Soldiers, following the successful completion of their rigorous military training.

The impressive ceremony was conducted in line with the highest traditions of the Indian Army and was reviewed by Major General Gurpal Singh, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Uniform Force, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by a host of military officials, civil dignitaries, and family members of the newly inducted Agniveers.

In his address, Major General Gurpal Singh lauded the dedication, discipline, and resilience demonstrated by the young recruits during their training. He encouraged the Agniveers to uphold the values of courage, honor, and patriotism, and to continue striving for excellence as defenders of the nation.

The Ladakh Scouts, known for their valor and service in high-altitude regions, are a crucial part of India’s defense in the northern frontier. The inclusion of these 194 Agniveers strengthens the regiment further.

The parade was marked by precision drill, patriotic fervor, and emotional moments as the new soldiers stood ready to serve the country with pride and commitment.
