An Indian Army officer involved in #OperationSindoor has described the unit’s recent cross-border engagement, highlighting the precision of their strikes and the absence of own-force casualties.
Speaking on the operation, the officer stated, “As part of Operation Sindoor, we engaged and destroyed the terrorist infrastructure. Since our firing was accurate, the enemy tried to target our gun areas, but their firing was not accurate and our targets were precise, so we did not suffer any losses.”
He explained that when hostile forces shifted their fire toward civilian areas in an attempt to inflict casualties, the Army responded decisively. “When the enemy started targeting our civilian areas causing casualties, we engaged the enemy’s gun areas to prevent losses and destroyed them,” he said.
The officer also reaffirmed the Army’s readiness and discipline, adding, “We are always ready to follow any kind of orders that we get.” Military analysts note that the operation’s emphasis on surgical precision aims to minimize collateral damage while dismantling terrorist networks.
The account underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to a strict rules-of-engagement framework and its capability to carry out complex cross-border operations without sustaining personnel losses.
