One of the focal points of the meeting was the progress made towards the 5 trillion Japanese Yen investment goal set for the period of 2022 to 2027. The conversation also addressed collaboration in both traditional manufacturing sectors, known as monzukuri, and modern industries such as semiconductors, electric vehicles (EVs), and green energy technologies.
Mr. Nukaga Fukushiro also proposed a forward-looking initiative aimed at nurturing and training the next generation of professionals through comprehensive programs. These would include training in Japanese language, culture, and work practices, designed to bridge the gap between the two countries and enhance bilateral cooperation.
