New Delhi: In a powerful address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a clear and resolute message to Pakistan and the world, declaring that “terror and talks” and “terror and trade” cannot go together. He underscored that India’s stance on terrorism has evolved decisively, with Operation Sindoor becoming a new paradigm in the country’s fight against terror.
PM Modi listed Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, alongside the 2016 surgical strikes and 2019 air strikes as part of India’s comprehensive policy of delivering “befitting responses” to terror threats. - Swift retaliation to any terrorist attack from any source.
- No tolerance for nuclear blackmail, with precise strikes against threats.
- No distinction between state sponsors and terror masterminds.
